Risk Disclaimer
Read this before you subscribe
SFTi is software, not advice. It is not a broker-dealer, not an investment adviser, not a managed account. Nothing it outputs is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Every trade you place is your own decision and your own risk, and you can lose money — including all of it.
1. Not investment advice
StatikFinTech, LLC is not registered as an investment adviser, a broker-dealer or a commodity trading advisor with any regulator. The scanner output, levels, session plans, written summaries and any other analytical output are general information produced by software. They are not personalised to your situation, your account size, your tax position, your time horizon or your risk tolerance, and they are not an offer or solicitation to transact in any security.
2. No promise about outcomes
We make no representation that using SFTi will be profitable, will avoid losses, or will produce any particular result. Any figure, score, probability or historical statistic shown in the product describes what already happened in a data set — it is not a forecast, and it is not a promise. Past performance does not predict future results. Hypothetical, simulated and back-tested results have inherent limitations: they benefit from hindsight, they do not involve financial risk, and no simulated record can completely account for the effect of real trading.
3. Trading risk
- Trading securities involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone.
- Only risk money you can afford to lose entirely. Do not trade with rent, savings you need, or borrowed money.
- Low-priced and thinly-traded securities — which this system watches — can be exceptionally volatile and illiquid. Spreads can be wide, a position can be hard to exit at any price, and prices can gap far beyond a stop.
- Margin magnifies losses as well as gains and can cost more than your deposit.
- Orders can be delayed, rejected, partially filled or filled at a price far from the one you saw.
4. The data and the software can be wrong
Market data reaching this system may be delayed, incomplete, mis-priced or missing. The models are statistical and they are wrong some of the time by construction. The service may be unavailable at the exact moment you want it. Do not rely on SFTi as your only source of information, and verify anything that matters with your broker before you act on it.
Parts of SFTi are still being built. The Shop states what is live today; where a surface has nothing to show, it renders empty rather than filled with something we cannot stand behind.
5. Automation does not remove responsibility
Where SFTi can act on a connected account, it does so under settings you control and on infrastructure that can fail. Software faults, network faults, broker outages and market conditions can each produce an outcome you did not intend. You remain responsible for every order placed under your credentials. Monitor any automation you enable, and stop it if it is not behaving as you expect.
6. Your own rules
You are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to you — your broker's agreement, your employer's trading policy, pattern-day-trader rules, tax law, and the law of your jurisdiction. If you are unsure whether a decision is right for you, consult a licensed financial professional. We cannot do that for you.
7. Limitation
To the fullest extent the law allows, StatikFinTech, LLC accepts no liability for trading losses or lost opportunity arising from your use of SFTi. This disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Service, whose limitation of liability applies here in full.
