Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the SFTi website, applications and API operated by StatikFinTech, LLC ("SFTi", "we", "us"). By creating an account, using the software, or paying for a subscription, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What the service is
SFTi is software. It runs market scanners and analytical models and shows you what they produce — levels, scanner output, written summaries and system state — through the web app and through an HTTP API. That is the entire product.
SFTi is not a broker-dealer, not an investment adviser, not a portfolio manager, and not a financial institution. We do not hold your money, we do not hold securities for you, and we do not place trades in your accounts. Nothing the software outputs is a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. See the Risk Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.
- You give an accurate email address and keep it current — it is how we reach you.
- You are responsible for your password and for every API key issued to your account. Treat an API key like a password; anyone holding it can spend your request allowance.
- One account is for one person or one organisation. Do not share credentials or resell access without a written agreement with us.
- Tell us promptly at SFTi.Help@sfti-ai.org if you believe your account or a key has been compromised, and revoke the key from your account page.
3. Subscriptions, tiers and metering
Tiers and their prices are published on the Shop page and served from our billing system, so what you see there is what you are charged. Each tier carries a daily request allowance; requests beyond that allowance are refused with an HTTP 429 until the allowance resets. Streaming access is included only on the tiers that say so.
Paid subscriptions bill monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices may change; we will give you notice before a change takes effect on your subscription, and continuing to use a paid tier after that date is acceptance of the new price. We do not store your card — Stripe does.
You may cancel at any time from your account page or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation and refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, resell, sublicense or redistribute SFTi output as your own product or data feed without a written agreement;
- work around metering, quotas, authentication or rate limits, or use multiple accounts to do so;
- probe, scan, overload or attempt to breach the service or the hardware it runs on;
- use the service to break any law or any rule of a market, exchange or broker that applies to you;
- scrape or bulk-extract the service other than through the API on your own tier.
We may suspend or terminate an account that does any of the above, and we will say why.
5. Availability and change
SFTi is a system under active construction and is provided as is. Parts of it are still being built; the Shop states plainly what is live today and what is not. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you are paying for, you may cancel and the Refund Policy applies.
6. Ownership
We own the software, the models, the interfaces and the SFTi name. Your subscription is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while it is paid for — it does not transfer any ownership. You keep whatever you create with the outputs; we keep the system that produced them.
7. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness or usefulness of any output. Market data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Analytical output may be wrong.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, StatikFinTech, LLC is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including where the software was unavailable, delayed, or wrong. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where that is so, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination your access ends, your API keys stop working, and any unused portion of a paid period is handled under the Refund Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are notified to the email on your account before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which StatikFinTech, LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are brought in the courts of that state.
